"I blended techniques of hand painting on silk screens and digital technology to create this herringbone design. I started with a palette of sea greens and blues stretched over a silk screen canvas. I wanted to create an under the sea effect that showed bubbles, currents and waves. After digitising and printing on to high shine paper I cut a series of strips and created the herringbone pattern by hand.
The result is restful and organic. If you adore the rich depths of emerald you'll appreciate this print."
